TRANSPORTATION


FLIGHTS
Southwest Airlines flies to Harlinger, about 40 minutes from South Padre Island. there is shuttle service from the airport to the island as well as plenty of car rental agencies.
Continental Airlines flies to Brownsville, about 20 minutes from the Island.

CAR
The driving distance from Houston to South Padre is about 6 hours.

TAXIS
There is plenty of airport shuttles and taxis to the island. there is taxi service from the marina to the island, a short 4 mile ride.
