DIRECTIONS FROM HARLINGER TO SOUTH PADRE ISLAND

 

Start by leaving the airport and head south on Loop 499 (Ed Carey Drive) about 4 miles to Expressway 83. Go under the overpass and get on the expressway headed east. Take the Highway 100 exit marked South Padre Island. Stay on Highway 100 (A word of caution - this road is famous for strict enforcement of speed limits!) In about 25 miles, you'll go over the Queen Isabella Causeway Bridge. Welcome to South Padre Island!
DIRECTIONS FROM BROWNSVILLE TO SOUTH PADRE ISLAND
Exit Airport onto Billy Mitchell.
Head West on Billy Mitchell approximately 2 miles until you reach Boca Chica.
Turn left on Boca Chica, travel approximately 2 miles to Highway 48 (South Padre Island Highway).
Turn right on Highway 48 (South Padre Island Highway) travel approximately 23 miles.
Turn right on Highway 100 at Port Isabel.
Continue traveling straight, about 2 miles, and cross the Queen Isabela
Causeway onto South Padre Island.
